Happiness for a Teacher

                A teacher has a big heart to accept every limited conditions in their class, such as:

• ·         Salary
• ·         Status
• ·         Title
• ·         Relations
• ·         Conditions
• ·         Facilities
• ·         Policy
• ·         Supervision
• ·         Personal Life

Why do I say those points as a limited condition? Because those things never give a teacher satisfaction (Henzberg Theory). Although I’m not sure about the’ title’ things, because something that I know is to be a teacher you have to fulfill teacher title requirements.  I believe someone who want to be  a teacher should be someone professional. They have quality, not only connection. Quality to teach the future.

Teaching isn’t about salary or grade. Although I know that salary and grade will give an effect to a teacher life and how teacher works. Teaching (and other works) are about  happiness that give a satisfaction. Finding satisfaction is not easy, but not too hard as you think.  There are a few things that can make a teacher satisfied:

• .       Recognition
• .       The work itself
• .       Responsibility
• .       Advancement
• .       Growth

Achievement is similar to a self-consiousness. People who has achievements will have confident. It will lift their quality becomes better.

Recognition can grow a self-proud. It is a great energy that can make someone works on their best. Recognition is the highest need for everyone.

Love the work will make someone work for their best. He/she will find herself in their job. They will find the most important point of their findings.

Responsibility will make someone becomes mature. A responsibility will develop a self-actualization and from the process, someone will get a satisfaction. It will be a trigger to become more responsible.

Advancement can be vertically done or horizontally. It can be vertically done if someone has a chance to become a bachelor, master, doctor, or professor, etc. Advancement will be done horizontally by learning various vocational skills. Actually, advancement is similar to one step closer to the hope and ideas.

Thinking growth and a possibility to take a part will invest some satisfaction for everyone. They will feel how they grow from days to days.

You can’t always take everything, but you have to give and share for happiness and satisfaction.
